Nakshatra Finder
In Vedic astrology, a nakshatra is one of 27 lunar mansions through which the Moon passes in its monthly cycle. Your birth nakshatra is the nakshatra the Moon occupied at the exact time and place of your birth. It is used to understand temperament, compatibility, strengths and the lunar phase you were born under.
This free nakshatra finder asks for your birth date, time and Indian city. It uses the Drik panchangam-js library to compute your birth chart and then extracts the Moon nakshatra, pada (quarter) and rashi. All calculations run in your browser.
Important: This is a computational reference. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified Jyotishi.
