Today's Panchang
A panchang is the Hindu astrological almanac that lists the five key elements of a day: tithi (lunar day), vara (weekday), nakshatra (lunar mansion), yoga and karana. It is used to choose auspicious timings (muhurta) and observe festivals.
This free panchang tool computes todays panchang for any Indian city. Select your city and it will return the tithi, nakshatra, sunrise/sunset, moonrise/moonset and the rahu kaal (inauspicious period). All calculations use the Drik ephemeris and run in your browser.
Important: Panchang timings vary by location. Always cross-check with a regional panchang or local priest for religious ceremonies.
